ATTENTION EVERYONE
If you are reading this and you go to any church, then I can use your help.
Currently under California laws, a minor girl between the ages of 12 and 17 can get an abortion during school hours without the parents being notified. The state thinks they should decided what is best for California families, instead of the families themselves.
Minor girls who become pregnant are scared and need help. Without parents knowing what is going on, they can not help them. Also, 71% of teenage pregnancies have a father who is over 21 years of age. These are statutory rapists who are getting away with crimes because they are able to destroy the evidence (the child) without anyone know about it. And, everyday in America 95 woman go to the emergency room with a life threatening ailment resulting from an abortion. Excluding the Physical, the emotional trama that will follow a teen abortion with only be intensified with parents who are unaware of what has happened to their baby girl.
Proposition 73 will require the notification of parents 48 hours prior to the operation. In the 20+ states where similar laws have passed it has lowered teen pregnancy, births, and abortions. This Law is imperative to the pro-life movement because if this is not passed, then we will lose a TON of steam. This is only a small step in the right direction, and if we are shot down, then people will start to lose hope.
BUT
If we get this passed it will be the beginning of our Quest For The Holy Overturningofroevswade.
